This workshop is brought to you by the Shire of Mundaring and the EMRC’s Healthy
Wildlife and Bush Skills 4 Youth projects. Designed to be family friendly, this workshop
will enable participants to learn about bandicoot (also known as quenda) ecology and
how to make your backyard bandicoot friendly.
Find out about parasitic diseases and why human food is bad for bandicoots. Activities will be provided for children.

Where: Kanyana Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre, 120 Gilchrist Rd, Lesmurdie
When: Wednesday, 5 July 2017, 9.45am (registration), 10.00am – 2.00pm.

Designed for families, this workshop aims to raise awareness about possums in the backyard.
Kids and adults will learn about possum ecology, how to manage interactions, how to get possums out of your
roof, what possums like to eat, and what to do if you find an injured possum.
Light lunch will be provided.
